ISU Adult Competition 2007
We got into Oberstdorf on Monday evening, much later than we had planned. My flight out of Tallinn had been delayed, and I missed the connection. Thankfully there were many flights from Amsterdam to Munich, so we were still able to get to Oberstdorf the same day. I did, however, have to miss the first practise session on Monday.
On Tuesday, I did two practise sessions. The altitude got me quite breathless, but it wasn't as bad as I'd expected to be. The practises were quite good, and I was able to run-through my program several times - nicely!
I had the best warmup ever for the competition. However, a good warmup doesn't always bode well... the skate itself was rather lacklustre. I missed the first combination and popped the double Sal - again!
