Our trip to Cambodia

21 - 26 December 2006

Over the Christmas holidays, we took a short vacation to Cambodia. Here is an account of our trip, and a bunch of photos we took. A quick synopsis is presented below, and links to the stories and photos are available in the navigation bar on the left.

21 Dec 2006 - Leave for Phnom Penh
We flew from Singapore to Phnom Penh on the evening of 21 Dec 2006.

22 Dec 2006 - Phnom Penh
We spent the day in and around Phnom Penh.

23 Dec 2006 - Travel to Siem Reap
We took a 8am bus to Siem Reap, arriving around 2:30pm. We went to Angkor Wat to see the sunset. Angkor Wat is phenomenal!

24 Dec 2006 - Angkor Archaeological Park
We set out at 5:30am, to catch the sunrise from Angkor Archaeological Park. We spent the day there exploring the ruins of the temples.

25 Dec 2006 - Siem Reap and Tonle Sap Lake
On Monday (Christmas Day!) we spent the morning around Siem Reap, then went to Tonle Sap Lake in the afternoon.

26 Dec 2006 - Going home
Our flight was at 7:50am, and we had a tuk-tuk take us to the airport at 6:30am.
